As he did, his computer screen went black. Just as he was going to check it his computer had shut off, a white screen popped up on his computer. A text box displayed “welcome to the Real Net!”. Oliver’s eyes were overwhelmed with what he could see. Every illegal practice had thousands of colorful web pages. There were all sorts of people on the Real Net: high ranking government officials, drug dealers, gang members, soldiers and anyone with enough money to get a black market ID. You could look up and change people's government records and bank accounts
The government had intalled this system with the guise of keeping the normal citizens safe while they were actually preventing their own shady lives to enter the public light. Only people of high status could get this information which kept thhe normal citzen from being able to climb the social ladder. They weren't censoring thhe internet for our safety and well being. They were doing it for their own gain. He was going to do it. He was finally going to be able to show everyone what terrible things the government was doing with our information. Everyone would understand why he had wanted to become such a recluse.
However, in the reflection of the screen Ollie could see a figure approaching him from behind.
