Cockpit

It was 10 feet away from the burning cockpit and looked like the D.I.D. scanners that the computer lab had in high school. The pilot’s card was still in it. However this was not the normal metallic blue card that civilians had, it was a pearly white card. Ollie quickly walked over to the machine and pulled it out. The D.I.D was blank. The card was devoid of any information. Over the crackling of the fire, Ollie could hear helicopters approaching in the distance. Filled with the wonder of what this blank ID could do, he began sprinting back to his home.
