Ollie was quickly snapped out of his memory. A whirring noise flew by overhead closely followed by a large explosion. Silver Spring was close to a peak of the mountain so Ollie quickly got out, threw his shoes and shirt on and began to climb. Once he got near to the peak, he had to climb hand over hand to get to a spot with a good view. As he got higher and higher, the trees thinned and he finally reached the stoney peak. About a mile away, Ollie could see a crashed military plane. It was shattered into a million pieces. There was no way the pilot survived. He thought it must have been a malfunction. Despite the horror of the situation, he felt drawn to the location.
